A lot of people depend on food delivery services for their meals. During open-ended research, it was revealed that a lot of regular users feel that while there are a lot of options for them to order from, they don't tend to have time on their hands when they actually want to order food.
The product team wants to solve this disconnect by building a feature to schedule orders and extend it to create weekly.
As a Product Designer, you are tasked with building an experience for a user to be able to schedule to the food of their choice.
As I was not introducing a new product but a feature in an existing product, it came with it’s own challenges. While studying the design system of Swiggy i realised that all of their tabs are not following the same design language and so I had to analyse them differently and had to implement them in my designs also. During the time I was designing for Swiggy they kept on pushing some minor changes that caused me a bit of difficulty to follow.
I also got an ester egg for you guys in prototype section 🌸

I conducted two researches. The first one was about How people are managing their meals, as there doesn’t exist any leading app right now which lets you schedule a meal so what alternatives are people depending upon, what are their pain points and how can I solve them!
It was conducted on google forms. With a sample size of 49 people. Though the problem statement was from an assignment I still wanted to validate the hypothesis and 37.5% people said yes they want to schedule to meals of their choice while 35.4% people said maybe. So this concludes that the hypothesis was in-short right. The other data which I found is that 19.1% people depend on their meals on online ordering and 29.8% people depend on tiffin service.

Second research extends from the first one only, as I said there doesn’t exist any leading app except Domino’s which lets you schedule a meal, so I started to search about the apps which let you schedule other deliverables like Country Delight, Big Basket, Suprdaily etc. I wanted to know how comfortable people are to the idea of scheduling.
