I was there as a Product Designer at Advantage Club for 5 months. I really enjoyed my time there and learned a-lot.
I have signed a NDA ( Non Disclosure Agreement ) with the company and so I can’t share the whole designs & userflows here! We can get on a call to discuss about it!
My Experience
✨ Learnings

- My first month at Advantage Club was spent as learning. I studied various topics such as resolutions, adaptability, and responsive designs. The other things I learned about were padding, margins, types of grids, resolutions, colour styles, iconography, text fields, navigation bars, typography, and the psychological effects of different font types and colours. I started dissecting different websites to understand their component system, my
mentor helped me solve all my doubts.
- UX Laws- Then I studied all the UX Laws such as Hick’s Law, Jacob’s Law, Law of common region, Law of proximity, etc.
🌙 Research

- We wanted to work on the updated UI. We wanted to change the design language of the product. So we started with User Research. In User Research I made a proper Questionnaire, which helped us interview users and understand their pain points as well as the features they enjoyed about our product. I started by interviewing my colleagues and then a formal request was sent to HRs requesting them to allow us to interview their employees. After the User interviews, I collected the data in one place and started to categorise them. After this, I used the card sorting technique to know how users relate to different elements. The other techniques used included Heuristic Evaluation, User Journey Maps & Five Seconds Testing.
